Today we have released completely new items panel into the game. It's been a demanded feature for a long time and finally we have managed to implement it. It might be a little bit unusual at first, but you will love it eventually. But this is just one of the features. We have also added a selector for Places of Interest, thus you no longer need to scroll the map to find that one particular place - you can do it with just a couple of clicks. Another major change is the ability to enter a quest location you have previously visited without actually bringing your hero! You won't be able to interact with anything unless you bring your hero - no clicking on anything, etc. However, this will allow you to check monster dens to see if the monsters are respawned already, review previously missed locations to recall what have you missed there, etc. Also now player info screen has medals, prestige points and prestige levels, so those players who hunt for achievements and victories can be recognized. Finally there is a number of convenient tweaks to make the game more pleasant overall: - Reduced time for fishing and digging treasures
- Petroglyph effect and cost doubled to make it more useful for a longer time
- Idol of Forture timers now should work better and give you more time to spin so it won't expire unexpectedly breaking your 7 day chain
- Higher chances to get equipment of your age unlike now when you are spawned with items you can't use.
- Numerous changes in Karfaree to make it better (like the dreaded opera quest).
You can read about other small tweaks and fixes in the update log.

I have an all in one desk top with a 23 inch screen and the inventory takes up as much room on my screen as Snooky's does on hers.

if you could add the research books to that list on the "backback" or backpack that would be of help too
They are already there
Oh now I know what your talking about, duh. It does look like a backpack too.

Does the reduced digging time also apply to anomalies? I am currently working on gravity anomaly and the dig spot for the sun dial is still 1 hour (X 2).
Will be fixed in the next update.

to start on a positive note I love being able to enter dens without hero I have wanted that for a long long time so that was great. I do not however like the inventory change AT all. I cannot see the 'improvement' of it to a game that is in all other ways moving forwards. sorry to say but its a step 'backwards' for me.

I like pretty much all of these changes and find them to be good improvements. POI menu is great, pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be from when they were first introduced. Being able to enter locations without hero is obviously also very nice. I have no problem with the new items menu, I quite like it, including the size (it's 1/4 of screen for me). It could stretch to the right a bit more if it was up to me. Only part I don't like so much is drag&drop in equipment section of hero page. Here the having to drag still throws me off, I'd prefer if I could click, not have to hold left mouse button down, move mouse and then click again to drop item (old way, basically). Somebody else mentioned it in the thread, I'd really, really like to see the idea about having different hero equipment setups being implemented next.

Just press right click on an item you need, this works the old way.

Equipment sets is a neat feature and it has been in our todo list for quite a while, but not with a high priority. One day it will be implemented, but don't hold your hopes too high.

I'd be happy to be able to use right click to move my hero and army while the inventory is open while I'm scanning it for any new artifacts but right after you right click with inventory open, it closes down. This works if you click and hold on the actual flag as it doesn't close the inventory but this makes you focus on it instead of the inventory. Also, it would be much better to have this "new" inventory for speed up items on world map so we don't need to scroll everytime we're using army/town consumables.

Additionally, i hate to say it, but the background colours on the magic, etc. items makes the inventory panel look almost....child like. Not sure how else to put it, but kind of makes it look a bit 'unsophisticated'? As i see it now, the only difference in the panel is that it is now bigger and bulkier and takes up much more of my screen? Another functionality that has been lost is the ability to see what 'special' features have been added to equipment when you hover over them. You now have to click on them to see what these features are. It makes destroying items that much more tedious as you now have to click on them to see if you really want to send that item to the idol or not. Please at least let us see what the equipment does when you hover over it like we could before. Yes, you can see it in the hero tab when you are putting it on, but not when you are in the general inventory screen, where you have to select to drag to an idol. Would have also liked to have seen a similar sorting out of the quest locations....like all of the dens in a row, all of the caves in a row, etc. Sorry, i know i'm asking for a lot lol.
I totally agree with relay on those issues. The previous look of artifacts with the colored spiral was way more prettier than those big blocks. They look like some cube puzzles destined to children under the age of five. Seeing the artifact abilities by hovering over is something I have missed already. P.S. POI's finder is great :)))

I am wondering why the dogbones are the first things in the inventory panel. They should be placed with other animal food.
