It would be really awesome if you could add a level maker and be able to set as many enemies as you want if you could do this it will make me very happy

The level editor is built-in in the game, but you need to get a little bit dirty to use it.

You need to open file TotemTribe\data\gui\mainmenuscreen.xml and look for

This is where button that loads up editor is present, but it is commented out. You need to change the folloding things:

change that into

After you do that there should be an editor button in the game main menu. Keep in mind that we provide absolutely no support about that so use it at your own risk.

If the guide above does not make sense to you, chances are you are not technically skilled enough to use the editor, so either find someone who can help you or let it go. I will not gonna give more detailed instructions, sorry.

If levels are somehow exportable I'd like to play them if someone make some. It's unlikely it happens though.

Making a good playable level is not an easy task :) Editing existing one is much much simplier.

No, it's there "AS IS", we haven't released any info on it, you have to dig it yourself if this is what you need.

Any updates on this? The level editor on the Gold edition seems to be broken.

Don't use the Gold version use the Totem Tribe Classic one. I think there is a problem with the screen resolution causing everything to be out of screen.

I digged a bit and found that the selectors for everything is actually hidden away. I had a problem where I could not select anything to place : Some windows were missing. If you change the position of those components you can make them appear back. Maybe it's possible to resize the window so that everything can fit ? I'm still looking into it.

I think you need to manually set higher resolution in config.xml if you plan to use editor. The game is designed to work in 800x600 and edtior requests 1024x768 if I recall correctly.

It works ! The exact values are 1280x1000 (quite weird but it works).

Here's a step by step on how to enable the editor on the Original Totem Tribe (not gold) if anyone is wondering :

- Install the game from https://www.enkord.com/game/totem-tribe/info/

- Launch the game and change some options to create the config.xml file then close it (I recommend to disable fullscreen).

- Go to C:\ProgramData\Enkord\Totem Tribe and edit your config.xml file.

- Change the windowwidth value to 1280 and the windowheight value to 1000.

- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Totem Tribe\data\gui and edit you mainmenuscreen.xml (you might need to use notepad in administrator mode or something)

- Search until you find <!--editor--> and change <!--component> to <component>

- Go down until you find <\component--> and change it to <\component>

- Save and start your game. There now is an editor button to access it.

- Enjoy !

I tried to do the same thing with TTG but each time I change the resolution it changes it back to default, any idea why that is ?

Could be resolution detection is different in newer game.Try to set "read only" attribute to config file after changing the resolution to see if it helps.

Tried it with no result..

I found logs when the game starts : https://imgur.com/a/u81czZV

The resolution may be hard coded ?
