Monster Maze in town

I thought at first it was a Monster forest, with no mobs, but all the way at the back, is a mountain, with an opening, so it's a cave monster maze.  (Monster mazes are usually a single, winding path, dotted with mobs, with a chest at the end.).  Can be found around the edges, of towns.

Inside there is no Roadstone, warning of danger, or a slate barrier to stop me rushing in.  Have these features been removed?

Slate barriers only in first town. If you have second town you are not a total newbie to guard you against random stumbling upon monsters.

se comprende que no pongan barreras  pero en mis 2 ciudades alternativas tengo enemigos caminando libres, lo que me ha llevado a morir recien creada la ciudad, no es molesto si es dentro de una cueva en la ciudad o como tengo en una gusanos en cierta area casi cerrada o algo asi pero que esten vagando en la ciudad si.
