First screenshots of real level

First screenshots of real level

We've been posting some screenshots back in the days, but those screenshots were showing only some scenery bits alone. Now we want to show you screenshots of one real level which will be seen in the final game almost exactly as you see it now. This way you can judge the final quality of the level design in Totem Tribe 2. Let us know what you think about these pictures comparing to the graphics of original game.

Looks even better than the original images. Absolutely looking forward to playing. Hopefully it will be released soon. Per the notes in the previous Enkord posting it may be the end of the year.

The quality is definetly great. Although, a pumpkin house? That seems kind of fantasy-esque for what totem tribe 2 would be. Unless its an npc related building and not something we are able to build (but even then, it still seems out of place).

Yes, it's NPC-related. And I don't think it's more fantasy-esque than say mushroom lair or witchdoctor house in form of one big bowl :)

Well if it's an npc related thing, then okay. For the witch doctor hut, it's actually kind of nice to have some stuff we can recognize from TT1/TT Gold and it works fine. I just thought it might have been edging towards cinderella fantasy if you know what I mean, but it looks like it could be that farmer npc characters house that you released a while back.

Yes, you remembered it well. This hut will be home for that farmer NPC which portrait we showed up a long time ago! And no, the game won't be childish fantasy at all! Actually the story this time will feature strong serious themes such as faith, freedom, treachery, hope. The idea about this game is to make it light and easy at first glance, but showing more and more depth the longer you dig into (like onion skin). We don't want to overwhelm players right from the start.

Heh, yeah I guess that farmer must be a legendary farmer or something to have a giant pumpkin for a house. :) Anyways, can't wait for TT2 to come out :)

Great graphics and loooooove the pumpkin house. Given that TT was such a fantastic game (and I will put up my hand now and tell you that it took me a couple of months to finish the game properly and get to rainbow road) I am really excited and cant wait for the release of TT2. AND I would be more than happy to beta test it for you if you are releasing a beta test version :O)

Wow, the improvements on the graphics look great! When you announced that the game would be online only I was really disappointed and annoyed... but every announcement since then just makes me want to play even more. Especially because the work that's going into this is obvious, and yet I'll still get to play for free and buy stuff only if I want. You'd think that kind of thing would lower the quality, not increase it, but increase it you have.

So in essence, this will be like a facebook game? Farmville etc? I hope not. I would much rather pay full price for a game then mess around with gems, points etc. Also, I'm pretty disappointed with the MMO aspect of this game. I have played several MMO's (both facebook style and PC based) what a nightmare. PC based , someone is always trying to hack into my account and there's tons of phishing scams. In fact, I haven't logged into Guild wars 2 or World of warcraft in a year and I am still getting notices daily that people are trying to log into my account. Every facebook based MMO I've ever played turns into alliances ganging up on others and really disgusting chat. (I'm no prude and the slang terms were making me ill) Or you end up playing with some kid who's 12 (telling you he's older). Will I try the game? probably... will I finish playing it? doubtful.
