Nice!
How much would I have to interact with other players, would it be in real time? Do I need do protect my village, do I have to trade resources, will I have a limited space to build on(limited by others) or can I complete the full game by myself?
How exactly the strategy will function?

Jeresandy,
thanks!
Vivia,
Yes, it will be absolutely possible to complete the game with little to no interaction with other players. We plan to have several account types for those people who prefer to play alone or enjoy all types of multiplayer features, therefore if you chose "single player", your interaction with other players will be limited in some way. Final mechanics are not finalized yet, but here is the basic idea.
As for resources - you don't have to trade with others, but it could be profitable. For example you have excess amount of one resource - you can trade it to other players.

Will you be able to change from single player to multiplayer or vice versa during the game? Or would you have to restart in order to change?
I like the look of it so far; and it certainly is different from the original TT.
I'm not sure if you'll answer this, but are you showing just graphic design drafts, or do you actually have a game design program that you're already working with? I'm just curious...

These screenshots are from actual game build, not just drawn in graphics program, if I understand your question correctly.
Speaking or single-player vs multiplayer - there will be basically one game with all of the features, but you will be able to chose of how big of an impact they will have, and you will be able to change it while playing. Even in if you are single-player type of person, multiplayer features will still be there, it just wont have as big of an impact. However once you will have enough with regular quests and story and decide to enjoy more multiplayer stuff like joining an alliance of other players, you will be able to do it at almost any time you feel ready.
I think even most conservative single-player persons will at least try multiplayer stuff sooner or later, so it will always be there waiting for you.

Thanks berserker - it's nice to see that even if it's still a long way off, TT2 is being developed not just graphically, but within the game software too.
I'm also glad that you can change gameplay between single and mutliplayer. I agree that it would be good to try it, but if you don't like it, it's great that you have the option to go back to single player if you want.

If you remove the black portion add some design like some creeper plant or anything like that, it would surely look great !!
