As we are moving towards the more important stuff, let me introduce two of the most important characters. I could call them main heroine and main villain, but it will be not technically correct, since the main hero of the game will be character generated by player. Here they go:

Female to the left is Annah. She will be an important person in the story, similar to Aruku in TT1.
Mysterious male is Jack of Swords. Unlike original games, this time the villains will have personality and you will be able to have conversations couple of times, before eventually opposing them.

I wanted to ask this for a while:
Will we be able to visit some (I'm not asking all) places from the original TT? Particularly, I'd like to see the Cradle of the North, the Dreamshore and the comet crash site (and maybe a bit of Guardian Moon) because they were plot important places [Edit: and what happened there since the events of the game, since these place were destroyed]. Thanks for your attention ^_^.

The game will take place many years after the events of original game (maybe even hundreds of years) so unlikely you will see those areas in it. At least not in recognizeable form. However there will be some tie-ins and references to the originals in form of lore, legends, maybe some items will have a come-back.
Nevertheless, Totem Trbe 2 will have a story that will allow you to look at the events of Totem Tribe 1 under a different angle.

With TT2 we wanted to make the game more serious. Not just happy tribal fantasy, but something more serious and believable. That's why we decided to upgrade the setting and since the game takes place ages after the original, you will see some places and people evolved and look more advanced than tribal people from original game. Think of african aborigines still living primitive life in the civilized world.

Totem Tribe was long ago
Dark Aruku and her minions rose
To fight the light and beat us down
To take our heroine Arukus crown.
We fought in the forests
And on volcanic shores
We battled dragons
And the Dark Shades hordes.
We researched hard and learned a lot
Building barracks and towers on empty plots.
Armies we gathered and Shamens came too
All in the name of our Leader Aruku.
Now Totem Tribe 2 is almost here
The battle rage lingers and so does the fear
What darkness will come, big battles, which foes

Maybe one day we will do the porting to other platforms, but currently we are focused on making the Windows version (and maybe Mac version not long afterwards).

The game will not run in browser, you have to download and install it like original Totem Tribe. Thus the game have to be rebuilt for each platform. We have so much plans for this game and iPad build is somewhere down the road, but we have to do everything step by step. We won't port the game on various platforms until Windows build will be finished and stable, cause supporting several platforms at the same time slows down the development of the updates.
