We have moved to a new more powerful server which is around 20x faster than the old one. It
is located in the Germany now (old one was in the US), therefore
connection speed might be slightly different, depending on where in the
world you are, however on average this should be faster for everyone.
We
have also ported our server software from Windows to Linux which makes
our server fees smaller and will future-proof our technology. Everything
considered what happened today will allow this game run for another
decade or so.
However, there may be bugs and some instability,
so please excuse us for caused inconvinience. We will work hard to fix
them promptly. If you have any trouble accessing the game, please
explain your problems here in the comments. Also, let us know if the game is faster or slower for you now and in which aspects.

he was unable to access game with old email and password. Had to make new email, so now he is associated and unable to access old heroes
If he forgot password for the old email he can reset password and it will be sent to that email. Making new email naturally makes new account without any heroes.

Hi I cannot log in at all. I click the TTJ icon and my computer asks if I want to allow the update, I select yes and it immediately jumps to "update tool has encountered a critical error and needs to be closed ..."
Still cannot get in, tried un-installing the game and re-installing the game, sadly did not work, did exactly as above ...

I don't have any of the mentioned issues fortunately, except just one that everyone must have: yesterday I was disconnected and couldn't reconnect for a few minutes, and it just happened again a few hours ago, and yet again right now. I'm even more convinced that it's happening to everyone by the fact that when I connect back, all my friends/alliance members are offline and I quickly see them reconnecting one by one.

Yes, there are server bugs and crashes that are being actively fixed, so some server restarts and disconnects happening from time to time.

Честно говоря учитывая насколько давно было последнее обновление я подумал что игру заморозили или просто бросили её разработку, но я безумно рад что игра не заброшена и по прежнему разрабатывается, с нетерпением буду ждать новых и крутых обновлений.

one of FF members had to change email and password to even access the game yesterday. When finally given access, all old heroes, achievements, etc were gone. Is there any way to recover old heroes?
Nothing is gone. The old account still there. You just need to remember the correct email/password. Only saved login was lost yesterday, not actual account.
Garath has been resolved. Lions still unable to access old heroes. Any suggestions?

I receive an error when the launcher starts. I tried using the Windows trouble shooter to set compatibility settings for the launcher executable. for example setting Windows run compatibility mode to different versions of Windows and setting the launcher to run as Administrator. They still all fail with the same exception message.

The crash is not for me. It is for a family member. I looked at her laptop and it will not load at all. Uninstalled and tried again on web version. All she gets is a messed up page where the feet are at the top and the heads at the bottom, then nothing. She went to another computer and got in last night with the download version, but her Chromebook will not do a thing. I have a picture on my phone of what she gets. I will try to send a copy to you in here.

All she gets is a messed up page where the feet are at the top and the heads at the bottom
I had the exact same problem on my iphone, clearing cache data/history/cookies fixed it.

I'm in France so closer from the server than before, and yet I don't think I noticed anything being faster than before, I waited to get a Tribal puzzle to test that, as in that puzzle I noticed before that every time I clicked on a wrong totem the other totems took about a full second to lose their light, but it's still the same today. That being said, overall I didn't find the server particularly slow before anyway.

I am finally back in, in order for that to happen I had to Uninstall the application. Delete the Enkord folder in Programme Data, remove any residual Enkord folders from User Profile, app data, Local and Roaming folders, Launched Registry Editor and removed Enkord references before Re-Booting, then re-booted and re-installed the game. Had to play the opening scene from a new hero, but with training the scout I got the option to log in, either with a new or an existing account. Used my existing account - all is well :)
