 While I am busy preparing new webiste for launch, the rest of our team is fixing holes in our feature list, and one of them is the Walls.
Since this time around defense will be more important matter, we decided it might be cool to add more defensive structures. Aside from defensive towers you will also have this upgradeable palisade.
Like any other building you will be able to improve it with upgrades. Upgrades will make your wall/palisade look more impressive too.

Nice, does this mean we need to plan our cities better so they fit inside the wall? Can we move a wall if we need more room?

It would be difficult to move buildings around if it's surrounded by walls, that's why I hate walls

I like the idea of walls, so what I want to know is can we attach the walls to our towers?
I also have another question, would you mind if I set up a TT2 FB fan page and add links to your blogs? That way I can a?dvertise and share TT2 and hopefully get you loads of followers for when the game is released.

Don't worry, these walls will be smart. Once you place them, they will enclose your town completely, and when you build new structure, you place it like there are no walls, and your workers will automatically deconstruct walls to allow you place new building and then automcatially build them to put new building inside ;)

Not on alpha or beta stage. Localization is reasonable only when most of the game is done and stable. Otherwise we will be doing double work supporting several languages.

I love the idea of smart walls that reposition themselves automatically, now my world will always look well put together encased in it's little walled up fortress.
I too would like to know if towers can be combined with walls? or will the walls just get built around the towers?

Well Beserker, I hope you and the team like the new Totem Tribe II facebook page. It's not finished yet, hopefully I'll get it up to date tomorrow, but I think its a good start.
