Unfortunately, it's been over 3 years since we have released new quest locations (Ruins) and 4 years since we have released location that moves the story forward (Preddo Mountain). However, we have been creating new content on and off all this time and now we are close to showing what we got. There were numerous issues that prevented us from doing it faster, both personal and global (russian invasion in Ukraine - we, the developers, are from Ukraine and still in Ukraine during since then), but despite all these hardships and despite understanding that this kind of update won't bring donations up significantly, I was always willing to make the Secret Library as a fan service, a token of gratitude to all those players who supported us through all this time. The Secret Library will conclude part of the game's story regarding Jack of Swords and will complete Act I of Totem Tribe II: Jotun. While it will not resolve all loose ends, it will clear some of the story bits and hopefully will provide some kind of conclusion for the time being, until we will have the resources to start Act II. Like with other main story locations, the goal was to make it unique and I think we have managed to do it - there are two parts, first one is where you progress througth the Secret Library, trying to move closer to the Bronze Sphere and the second one is where you oppose the Jack of Swords, who is the final boss of the whole Act I. The location is affected by your previous progress in the story and in the other places like anomalies and ruins. The Secret Library is a place of the Precursors, thus items of the Precursors and information about them is important here and helps to unlock things not accessible otherwise. Let us know in the comments to this post if you are still waiting for this to come out or you have lost hope already. If you are excited about it - let us know. It is helpful to understand which portion of the players are into the story and quests and which portion is here mainly for managing your country and multiplayer aspect. You can also ask questions about the upcoming location in the comments.

YAY!! I am very pleased that you will be able to complete the Secret Library at last. Have been waiting patiently for years to see the storyline continue. It will be great for the storyline fans to have the first part of the game completed with the library. Hopefully this will encourage more players to stay on and encourage new players to join us and keep a steady income stream going for you. As one of the very early testers it has been well worth the wait for this great news. Welll done team:)

Since day one of the game I have been waiting to know what the bronze sphere is and what the secret library is like. I am delighted with this step forward. Thanks to Bers and all the developers for the great work! I can't wait! :))) |

Just the news I have been waiting for! I hadn't played in the last year due to many reasons, but when I came back the first thing I checked was the secret library, the close of Act 1. I know many players play for the victories, but I really enjoy the story that is constantly unfolding. I cannot wait to get there! |

I love this game so much and I really appreciate the efforts you are constantly making to improve it under these very difficult conditions you are experiencing in your country. I never gave up hope about the Secret library and the completion of the first act. I'm so glad that the planning has progressed and this moment is coming, so please, keep going. Not necessary, the Secter Library is perfectly beatable without anomalies and/or ruins, but If you beat them, it will unlock some conversation options, shortcuts, secrets, optional quests.

Good questions and thanks for the guide, I hope you will make one for the library too as no one is helping in the facebook group anymore and as usual with locations we will probably be stuck on many things, but unfortunately since you are on break right now the library will be open since at least weeks before you can play it. |
