Recently we have finished working on Game Launcher which will allow us to update the game frequently and propagate the updates to all the people playing the game. This was vital part to game launch and after this problem is solved there is nothing big left that stands in the way of launching Totem Tribe II: Jotun alpha test! Yay!
There are still minor things left, plus we will have to do some in-house testing prior to letting people in, but if all goes well, first people from outside of our team will stand their feet in the world of Teya again. Very likely that next news post will be about first people getting in. Are you as excited as we are? :)
In the other news: I've added feature to change your account nickname. It will be able enabled with game launch for everyone (one-time rename), but I will also need to have it tested, so if you want to change your nickname - let me know here in comments and I will enable it for you right away.

BTW, to those who follow: we have the game readly and uploaded, and for now we are pre-testing with our team. Mainly we are testing critical stuff like the ability to install and actually launch it. Therefore, first testers will be invited pretty soon I think. |

Lets few days we have been playing the game with our team. Had some fun PVP moments along with some serious bugs found. Our musican attacked my village when I was sleeping, plundered 35 resources, but lost a unit which cost 200 to train. Not a fair trade IMO :) That's the effect of special polity for casual players which provides pretty good protection to those who are not much into PVP. Surely I want to let in some people from outside FAST, but those critical bugs needs to be treated first. |

Please tell me it wont be until after Friday, I had to bring my fairly new laptop back to the shop, becuause it wasnt working properly - or so I thought. Turns out there was nothing wrong with it, I'm just a bit stupid :D :D. I cant collect it till Friday and this laptop I'm on is ancient and very very very sloooooooww.

I bought a new computer 2 days ago, the other one was overheating a lot. Figured it was the battery causing the problem but I wanted a newer computer just for this game. The hubby got the other one, he does not play the games I do. Bring it on berserker, I am ready to rock and roll. Let me go check my email again. |

I missed this before: At least one of the silent lurkers would be me. I often check when I'm using my iPad, but don't remember what my login info is and so browse silently. My browser on my laptop keeps the login info for me, so when I use my laptop I can login and leave messages. :) |

I'll play it on both machines so and can let you know if there is any difference. When I got this old one XP had just been launched and my new machine is windows 8 so it will be interesting to see how it plays on both systems. |

Yep - I'm one of those silent lurkers too (hi everyone!). And I'm not even in the Alpha. That is the level of obsession I'm at with this game now...
