Totem Tribe 2 achievements and medals

Totem Tribe 2 achievements and medals

The fact that Totem Tribe 2 is an online multiplayer game means there will be enough competition for those people who are into battles and player-versus-player warfare. But what about those more casual folk who are not interested in battling others, but still would like to experience some kind of lighter competition? That's where achievements come in. Totem Tribe 2 will feature achievement system which will allow you to compete with other players without engaging them directly.
There will be thousands of different achievements in 6 categories. When you get some achievement you are awarded with prestige points and when you have enough prestige points in some category, you will receive a medal.
Here how those medals will look like:

(These are 9 out of 60 medals already made)

Both your prestige points and medals will be visible to other players at the player info screen, next to your hero picture. And that will be visible on the website too!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay - can you tell I'm happy :D. I looooove achievement medals because it lets me know how well (or not so well - lol) I am doing and not because others can see how much I have (or haven't)achieved. So glad you are making this part of the game :)

Indeed, we have studied and reviewed a lot of different medals (including military) to use them as inspiration.

Is the language on the green medal in the second row Tetalan? Will the unexpected surprise that you taunted us with 3 blogs ago, going to be that we will learn how to speak Tetalan -:)

I don't think we can dig that deep :) To do that kind of detail, we have to hire a person dedicated to creating lore like that :) And that surprize I mentioned earlier, is on a much bigger scale ;)

I like everything that the Enkord's team does for TT2. Also I hope for the fastest game release (I will become a grandmother soon, and then free time on games doesn't remain) :) anneer, the language on the green medal in the second row - it's Latin. "Angelus meus mecum semper" (angel my with me always).

That was my first thought as well An81angel, some of them look like military medals. @Paulina: Maybe 'My angel with me always'? Sounds more like something for a memorial though. The lower right one could be something peace related, or that you curcumnavigated the world. On that note, would it even be POSSIBLE to circumnavigate the TT2 world? The middle one I could speculate on it being the first time you became Caesar or Emperor or something.

I agree with you, but I wrote not literary, but an interlinear (word-for-word) translation.
