We managed to put together official website for TT2 which will be available at www.totemtribe.com
We will be deploying it next week and after extensive testing will make it available live to everyone. Hopefully testing won't take too much time and website will be available next week too.
You might ask why it took us so long to setup a basic website where there are a lot of website engines and frameworks available, both commercial and free ones. The answer is, because website is built around the game itself and with launching it we are launching part of the game as well (the technical part that handles accounts, registrations, logins, etc.) and website is basically a superstructure on top of Totem Tribe 2 account server.
Thus, this post is one of the last blog posts here, future news will be posted on the new website, and forums will be moved as well.

Ok, so when the new site goes live we register and look for the news there. It will be a little odd not coming here anymore, but I am excited for the new website. Thank you for all the wonderful updates Berserker!

I have a feeling that I've spend half of my life here, posting news and waiting for new comments :)
P.S. You will not need to register there again, whole database will be transfered, including accounts, posts, news, comments, etc. The only difference is those accounts will be game accounts as well.

The link in the news is just a redirect to current totem tribe page on this site. When it will be done, it will be whole different thing over that address.

I'm wondering one thing though, there are like 40,000+ members, a good deal of them are probably spambots, so how will you deal with those and inactive members when you do the initial transfer to the new site and forum so that it doesn't clog up the game account database?

Spambots that posted spam at least once are banned. We will not transfer banned accounts. But 40000 is not that large amount, it will not clog up the database that much. Furthermore later when we launch the game if player does not play the game and don't have any posts posted on forums will be considered empty and inactive and will be deleted.

There are not much news here aside TT2 anyway and we are focused on TT2, so there is no point on having news and forums here when TT2 moved elsewhere. This site will not go away, but news and forums will be forzen and kept only for archive purpose. All TT2-related activity will be going on separate site.
