I am stuck on Shark Archipelago because I can't figure out what is the significance of the flowers clue. Can anyone help me?

Have you been to the island (one of those on Archipelago) where there is a scout hut? If so, there is a mountain with red and white lights around it. The flowers know what color those lights should be.
Spoiler: (highlight the hidden text) The pattern of white and red flowers should be replicated in the lights around the mountain.
