Place with purple pillars....

I''m at thie place with the purple pillars, not sure what its called. This isn't about solving the pillar prob. I must be stupid but I can't fiure out how to get aruku and guro (?) past the little bottle neck going to the next island, where there is a green crystal manung and other crystals surrounding it. I got rid of the other mounds eith the crossbow but can't figure out how to aim it so it will hit that one mound. I've tried but I can't figure it out. Also I read on one of these posts were a guy said he had something in his "treasury". Is there some way you can access the items you got on the other islands on your current island? By the time I got these items on the other islands, I never get to use them on that island because I had basically already beat the bad guys. seems kinda silly to go to the trouble to get these items(powers,ect.)and not even need them, then go on to the next island and have to start all over again with no items. Does these make sense? It's hard to explain what I mean I hope its kinda clear. Anywhere I hope someone can help Thanks!!!

It's me agian..I just watched the walkthru for this level. I noticed when they put a totem on the second purple crystal pillar, it exploded! Mine didn't, its still there even though I put the totem on it, and did the light puzzle. That might be part of my problem??? Can anybody help me? Thanx-SV

Okay I went in there and tried putting totems on again and they exploded. I saw round brown things on them and thought they were totems. But, anyway, I'm still stuck though because I can't break those green crystals and explore more and find more crystals. And I can't seem to find anymore crystals where I am, to use any of those idols. Help, anyone? Thanx-SV

To destroy crystals that block your way you need an Idol. If you don't have enough crystal shards yet, then probably this map will help you. Discussion #189 Good Luck
