(SPOILER) Animals and taming

i suggest that we make a post with the items for the animals, so if we have 10 of X we know where to use them Ill start, but i don't know everything, so if you know another one post it here please

Dog ------> Dog bone

Dog ------> Fresh meat

Fox ------> Egg

Porcupine --> Root

Snake -----> Pungi flute

Monkey-----> Bananas

Crocodiles -----> Rotten meat

Hippo ------> Sausage fruit

Penguin------> Fish

Brown Bear-----> Honey

Snow Leopard-----> Fresh Meat or Valerian potion

Lizard----> Flies

Ram  --- Cabbage

Boar --- Acorn

Deer --- Beechnut

where do you find the food to tame them?  I have fox, but can't find eggs

The foxes scout for me.  Does the ram work as a battering ram?  Do any of the other animals have uses?

The monkey is a spy.

What eats flies? I have gathered some and I tried to feed them to a couple spiders in the caves, but that didn't work. What will eat them?

I found you have to talk to it first, then feed it fish and it is a scout that can go in the water like a boat (I messed up my first one now have to wait to find another one)

I spoke to the penguin, attempted to give it a fish, but the fish ended up in the food supply.  Did I miss a step?

I put the fish on the penguin and it did not take it.  The fish ended up in inventory.  I did this twice.

It has now also happened to me. I feed the penguin and it put the fish in my inventory.

Must have your Hero near the Penguin when you feed it.
