Thoughts on war victory requirements, possible spoilers

Bers asked me to start a forum post with the thoughts I had talked to him about, so here goes. I am giving specific details of trophy requirements to enable people to comment, even if they do not have all the levels of the trophy hall, so there may be spoilers.

Stripes are needed to build the hall in the first place, a heck of a lot of them. 250 for the first level rising to 5000 for the 5th and final level. You get stripes by attacking players in a higher age than you, or those with rage. If you do not want to lag behind in research, I think it is very difficult to get enough stripes purely by attacking those with rage, especially as travel times are so long now with snails and the brig speed being reduced. I think most ''average'' players probably only manage 1 attack per day, 2 if they are lucky and the target is close.

Ok, so you have got over the hurdle of the stripes somehow and you have your nice shiny trophy hall built up to level 5.

level 1 trophies needed
Holey Coin:- Plunder 1000 resources, need to do this 5000 times
Broken Sword:-kill 10 infantry, do this 1000 times
Battered Horseshoe :- kill 5 mounted troops, do 500 times
Stained Mask, no real clue what you actually have to do but description says :-perform a large scale intelligence operation, despite noticeable losses , need to do this 100 times

Level 2 trophies needed
Cracked Wheel:- destroy 3 siege or destroyer units, do this 200 times
Divided Helmet:- kill 10 reinforcement units that do not belong to the attacked player, do this 300 times
Severed Ear:- Kill 1 enemy hero, do this 50 times
Junk Bag:- Kill 1 settler, do this 40 times

Level 3 trophies
Rusty Anchor:- destroy 3 naval units, do this 200 times
Scratched Shield:- destroy 5 tower levels, do this 400 times
Jammed Lock:- destroy 5 wall levels, do 100 times
Resilient donkey:- attack someone 50 cells away from you with hero, do this 100 times

Level 4 trophies
Dead Goldfish:- destroy 5 levels of economical buildings, do this 100 times
Corrupted Swan :- destroy 5 levels of evolutionary buildings, do this 100 times
Weak Elephant:- destroy 5 levels of military buildings, do this 100 times
Stupid Monkey:- destroy 5 levels of supportive buildings, do this 100 times

Level 5 trophies
Torn Flag:- completely destroy enemy town, do this 20 times
Fractured Crown :- completely destroy whole country( at least 5 towns of the same country)

This last trophy implies that you have to be the one to finish off the 5 towns in the country, these days with some siege nerfed and tt so long, people tend to want to make their attacks count, so go in much bigger groups than earlier alphas,
so you may not be the one to finish off all the towns. Also if other people see towns smoking, they may attack as well making it almost impossible to guarantee that you can destroy 5 towns.

Junk Bag, if people know an attack is coming, they will usually move units like settlers out of harms way, so unless there is an agreement between the attacked and defender that the defender will train lots of settlers for you to kill, which will not be a real victory imo, I think this is almost impossible as well.

Stained mask, I admit I don't really know what this involves, but again it seems to me that unless there is an agreement in place about spies, this one is also nearly impossible.

I think the other trophies are at least achievable in principle, not sure if you can get them done in an alpha though as the number of times you have to do it are really high, but like all the trophies in war victory,getting them is dependant on what other people do and build, you have no control over what units may be in a town unless you ''fix'' it with the defender.

I will be very interested to hear what other people think, Ber said he would look into this, so please do comment.

That thread's ideas were too radical without any guarantee they would change anything, in this thread poster is saying he managed to build trophy hall level 5 and successfully gathering trophies, except some of them are too hard, which is more interesting, beceause tweaking some trophies is easier (more likely to happen) than redesigning whole idea (not gonna happen).

Yea fractured crown is next to impossible with the rebuild system and the amount of time it takes to travel now. To get that trophy the targeted kingdom would need to be abandoned imo. Taking about 3 hours just to reach the target, then 2h30m return time, you would be lucky to even attack the target 2 times if you play around the clock. All while they are setting up truce flags and rebuilding super fast. And you need to do that for all 5 towns.

LOL I've already told you end of last alpha ( AFTER building Trophy Hall with my second hero and AFTER making tests with other player) that Junk Bag ( settlers) , Stained Mask and Fractured Crown ( spies) are the only 3 trophies that must be reworked ( for all the others it's just a question of quantity)

Junk Bag because settlers are rare and in general hidden in shelter like the others explained.

And Stained mask because the only way to get 1 trophy is to send "x" spies to fight exactly the same number of spies in the target town ( admitting that no reinforcements there tho, not many towers and a total cooperation of the target ). Only 1 trophy can be obtained by attack, no matter the amount of spies sent ( in general the best results are obtained when 15-20 spies are sent vs 15-20 spies in the target town )

Good that you gonna change Fractured Crown. 

As for stripes, I still think a new way to get them must be added in low ages. Currently most of the stripes are obtained during joined attack with different ages heroes , so, quite late in the alpha, letting to the players only 3 months to fill up the Trophy Hall. Regardless to the amount and the variety of the trophies required , I am not sure that even 5 months are enough....
