Totem Tribe Gold - crow not dropping coal

Hello,I just wanted to ask why are we given a broken game for donations?Now let me tell you whats this all about:
I decided to replay Totem Tribe Gold just for funzies.Havent played it in a long while and all that.So I download the game,start playing it,all is fine and good until I reach Frozen Vale island.
I need to find 8 pieces of coal there.Seems easy enough right?But no,I looked all over the map,found 7 pieces of coal.Then methinks "I must be either blind or retarded".Oh well,time to spam the first mouse button until I get arthritis.I spent about 1 hour clicking every tree rock bird human building and everything else.Nothing.Then methinks "I must be REALLY retarded." Time to go search for a walkthrough.
So I found myself a walkthrough,searched EVERY spot on the map."I guess this walkthrough is old like my grandma" I thinks.So I found diffirent one.Says the same thing,all the coal spots are the same,shell spots are the same,everything is the same.Still cant find the damn coal,its SUPPOSED to be there but it isnt.Then I find myself ANOTHER guide,and it says EXACTLY the same thing.I spend another hour messing around with guides,achieved nothing.
So tell me,am I blind and retarded,or is the game really broken beyond repair?I mean no offense to anyone,and if I am wrong,I will delete this post once I found the Legendary Coal of Invisibility.Thanks for all the help you can give me ;)

Alright,I think I figured out whats up with the game.It seems that if you kill crows while not in "official" battle (without flags) crows drop the coal and it doesnt count as "found" for some reason.
Either way,I was wrong,its possible to complete the island,though the game is bugged,so I was only half wrong lel
I will delete the post if I can,and if not delete it for me,thanks.
