I have defeated all the skeletons and the skeleton knight, and still only found 9 bones. I have clicked on every pixel, I'm sure, and nada. Is there one hidden in a tricky place? I can't go forward, and have spent hours here :(

search your town for dog bones, there should be a few and others will show up. They will show up in your inventory at NK and solve the problem :)

Just curious - did this work, gillygumpin? 'Regular' dog bones and the ones you find at NK show up separately in your inventory, so I didn't think their function was the same. The Bone Knight only appears if you've killed all the skellies. So if you've killed the Bone Knight, you must have done all the fights there. There must still be a bone lying around somewhere.

Mine have always been lumped together and never had a problem. In fact use it to avoid big skellie groups to get through with less army/losses.

Well I'll be... I just tried this with a new hero and you're right! I just always assumed they were separate items as they are listed separately in your inventory, so I never questioned it. Ha, learn something new every day. Thanks for the tip!

Bones from other towns did not work for me, but I gave the lady 9 bones and 10 grapes and she is preparing the potion (?)
