I don't know if anyone has considered the additional difficulty that color blind people have when confronted with the hidden objects. What may be easy for normal sighted players becomes very difficult for those of us who have limited ability to distinguish colors.

We are keeping colorblind players in mind, that's why we don't have situations where gameplay relies on objects that differ only by color.

I am red/green color blind. I have spent hours looking for the last key in my "home town". That is several up-down side-to-side sweeps of the entire area. I have clicked just about every every rock, bush, thorns, trees and anything else I could find. I can find the fish bones, etc when the whole outline is visible because I can recognize the shape. Items that obscure the outline make it impossible to identify when using some color schemes.

Trust me, many non-color blind have similar issues, that's the way this game is :) Some items are intentionally hidden too well. Also it is possible that you haven't cleared all fog in town and the item spawned somewhere under the fog.

As I said, I have gone up & down as well as side-to-side many times until I can go no farther. If it looks like there is the slightest chance of a narrow passage, I approach it from different angles to ensure there is no throughway. Yes there are some objects that are hidden well by design and no one is disadvantaged by them. Usually, you have some indication of where to look or it is a confined area (i.e. rock-o-hole). I click on every item in a room that is slightly suspicious or abnormal. With items like keys, we are denied access to areas in our country and have to try to find the keys in the whole countryside. While I admit I am not a fan of hidden object games, they are a welcome addition reminiscient of Dungeons and Dragons, as are the puzzles.
