i have no idea how it happened but i have lost all the progress i made on Cradle of the North!! the only thing i was missing was the very last ice crystal to take to the idol. i had already placed all totems on the pedestals (except for the monkey, of course).
is there any way to get everything back?! i reallly do NOT want to have to do this island all over again. :(

you wanted to know how to replay a level.
Maybe you did what you did to the wrong level.
As we don't know what you did to the level, it will be difficult to reconsruct and I doubt that you will be able to get it back, unless you saved the file before you started fiddling with it, which is always recommended.
Did you save the file before changing it?

i don't know what i did. i walked away from the computer for a minute to take a phone call. when i came back the map was on the screen - i clicked on Cradle and it came up at the very beginning of the level.
i don't know how to save the level(s). sorry. when i finish playing for the night i simply hit "quit" and it saves my progress for me.

ok...completely different computer, completely different OS (Wndows 7 now) and the exact same thing happened! i only needed one more crystal; walked away from computer for about 5 minutes, came back - screen was black. when i went back into the game and clicked on Cradle of the North, i was back at the beginning and had to start all over again. very frustrating!! :confused:
