Abandoned City Hearth Stones

These 10 hearth stones have probably got to be the biggest and easiest finds in the game, but I can't find #10! I've even started tearing down my buildings to see if I built on top of one (don't think so though). Could I use a Hippo Butt instead? They are about the same color and size?:p Beth I'm adding to my original post because I'm now DESPERATE! I have finished everything except the rocks in the Abandoned City. I have torn down every building I built, and rebuilt. These rocks are 20 times as big as a gem and I can't find #10!!!!!!!!!!!! I found the 9 I have in 3 different places in plain site. One pile was down by the water had like 4 or 5 in it, then the rest were in a pile and I think one single up toward the top/middle of the screen. I have looked behind pineapples, trees, piles of old buildings, everywhere. I have even completely logged out and rebooted my computer in the hopes that maybe something was hung somewhere and that would trigger the game to place the last stone. NOTHING! NADA! Can somebody please tell me if they found a rock off someplace weird by itself? As you know I'm sunk if I can't find this rock! I'll just have to do the island all over again and pray it shows up on a second try, but I hate those pictures as bad I hate white sharks! Beth again

They appear, when your people kill the stone monsters. So where are they in your case depends on where you have fought. However, all such items are semi-visible even when they fall behind the obstacles and move a little all the time as well.

I also had some trouble with the stones, but I finally noticed the last one sitting on top of one of the platforms for the four elements.

I found the stupid rock on the pedestal after about zillion tries! Thanks 7xsDad! Now maybe we could have the programmers change where objects can appear please! Beth
