Very good idea but you should be more precise/insist more on the fact that donating is helping enkord to develop more locations etc rather than just getting advantages over people who don't donate. Maybe berserker should put on the main page something like wikipedia, kickstarter etc do: "Next location will be released when this goal is achieved" showing a bar of current donations and the needed amount for next content to be released.
I'm not a donator myself so while I could still study it I guess some other people can do it instead (plus I'm a bit lazy and I already recently did a whole guide about science): could you tell which items are the best to buy ? I guess it would be the science items that together allows to research 2.5 times faster, the figurines of enlightnment since getting them like I did through innovation studios is slowing down the science a lot and require monarchy to have enough to reach level 50 (or have an extreme corruption). Also with books to speed up and coins to get resources instantly, one can basically have everything instantly except science (though it's speeded up thanks to building harvesters and science building faster).
Also tell that donating some(I don't remember how much) amount gives you a lada ward which is a truce lasting 3 days instead of 12 hours + another lada ward that you shall give to someone.

Also I suggest berserker to bring back the premium clothes that had no effect on the game itself: people were affected a lot by the apocalypse fires despite they did absolutely nothing in reality, so the opposite must be true too (at least it definitely is in all other games were there is that): people are ready to give money to have clothes available only this way despite it doesn't actually do anything.

Yeah, staying funded is important thing. Maybe berserker should put on the main page something like: "Next location will be released when this goal is achieved" showing a bar of current donations and the needed amount for next content to be released. Not bad idea  Could you tell which items are the best to buy ? I guess it would be the science items and the figurines of enlightenment. Also with books to speed up and coins to get resources instantly, one can basically have everything instantly except science. Seems good for me. :) Also tell that donating some(I don't remember how much) amount gives you a lada ward which is a truce lasting 3 days + another lada ward that you shall give to someone. Lada's ward is useful to have if no other means to defend possible, I agree.

I think Goz's ideas of a donation goal bar and bringing back the clothing items that are only available through purchase are great and spot on. :-) I'd also like to suggest a system where vip points earned remain intact (presumably when a specific time expires) but the ability to use them (in other words gain the benefits from them) expires requiring the player to buy (or obtain some other way from the game) an item to activate them. The item would activate the points and corresponding bonuses for an hour, 8 hours, 12 hours, etc all the way up to one month (being the most expensive item of course). VIP points would go dormant if not added to after one week or whatever time the team decides is best. They can remain dormant even though accumulating as well, requiring activation through a game reward or item found (and they can be rare of course) or purchase using real money. And the points can be increased in total numbers that way if need be with different ways to earn VIP in the game or just keep the same system with the points accumulating as they are now, with the purchase of items, including those specialty clothing items maybe. The 20 day bonus period could be the top activation length (my numbers were just examples).

I agree with you on both points, sounds good for both sides, the devs and players.

the bar is a great idea, so is bringing back unique clothes and thank you Stitch for bringing this up! The system River is talking about, is also used by another game i used to play and it works great. It made me much more willing to spend some money to extend the VIP level. (game was not as good as this one, so i stopped playing it :)). that game was good in customer relations: - when they had to do maintenance or server had been down, we all got a package with goodies to make up for it. - they had packages you could buy for 4.99, 9.99, 19.99 etc. and it had either goods for defense, attack, resources, hero, research etc. you could choose whatever you needed. once you bought 4.99 you got offers for 9.99 which of course had more content than the 4.99.then 19.99 etc. after a while you got offers again for 4.99. it was hard to resist some of those offers!

I played the same game as Tsunami did and it was nowhere near as fun as this one from my perspective. And I routinely bought the item I needed to extend the activation of my VIP. (I can tell you that as the points increase here I just can't financially manage to keep it active. However, I am willing to pay to extend the activation of whatever level I'm at using a specialty item. Of course, buying that item adds VIP points but perhaps not enough to take one to a higher level.) It's something that would have to be designed for this game of course. The package deals were great too and you could see the increased content differences between the price points. I'd love to see donations increase for this game and I think the ideas presented here are creative, constructive suggestions for doing so.

Man even I paid for packages in that game and I never spend money on free games lol It would be very profitable to make item packages such as those for this game. Many people would see the item packs and buy them simply because they are good deals and they need that set of items for what ever reason, building, science, etc. And the VIP system there is perfect. 2 item system, one item boosts your VIP exp to increase the level and the other extends the time. Give it a try, you might be surprised at how many will start to donate more.

Yeah, VIP system on this game isn't best possible. This sounds like good suggestion to fix it. :)
