Finishing game

I have got all the jewels and finished all the levels, except for the picture puzzles in The Abandoned City. I have loved every aspect of the game and think that it is a shame that I am not able to achieve a perfect score because of one small part. I know that I am not stupid and have spent hours trying to finish those picture puzzles, given the amount of complaints on this forum, I would have thought that Enkord would have issued a patch to slightly change the way these puzzles should be done. I know that a few of you have completed the puzzles and "well done you!" but I feel cheated:confused:;)

No Pekeus. I gave up. That doesn't mean that you will fail though. I suppose that it depends on how your brain works, and mine just does not see it

I just click through one arrow at a time and leave it on the one that seems to improve the picture best, then move on to the next arrow and do the same. As it becomes a little clearer, you can see when there are parts of the images that match up, so work to line those up. If you're paying attention, it should only take a few minutes to solve.

Hey Dollyann! I just finished the game and I understand your frustration. I actually had a different problem on that island/page. I was able to get the picture puzzles, but it took ages and lots of forum searching to finally figure out what the heck to do with the lava stones and dew drops. I just hope you will keep trying on the picture puzzles, because it's so satisfying when it finally clicks. I saw one person describe it like being at the eye doctor "Which is better, one or two?" That kind of fits, but to me it was like trying to get a good picture on an old style television, like when I was a kid. Those TV's had a dialing tuner and rabbit-ear antennas, and to get a good picture you had to just keep messing with them and judge by whether the picture was getting better or worse. I took me a while to figure out the controls, which are kind of confusing. It would have been better if each row and column had buttons moving both left and right or up and down. However, if you click a button eight times you get back to where you started, so to move the opposite way you just subtract from eight and click that number of times. I suppose it also helped that the pictures were somewhat familiar to me, as I'm into ancient Egypt :rolleyes: Good luck and don't give up the ship!
