full screen crash

for some reason, totem tribe gold keeps crashing when I try to open it in full screen. When I open the error log, it tells me "Can't find appropriate full screen video mode". Someone please help!

If you really have issues with TT Gold, you are in the wrong forum. This is for TT Jotun. 

Maybe your computer is too advanced for TT Gold?

If you are experiencing this issue, there are a few step's I've found that can help resolve it. The first is to go to the location your totem tribe gold is installed, right click the application and go to properties, and then in the compatibility tab select "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and select "Compatibility mode". Windows 7 did the trick for me. Happy gaming!

p.s. My game was still crashing while trying to enter the level I was already playing. Making a new account, entering the tutorial island and ensuring that worked, and then going back to my main account fixed this.
