Can I please ask if this will run well on Windows 7 - I have the professional version and 64 bit.
this operating system also runs programs that are not 64 bit. I does it all automatically. I think mainly programs that run on Vista also will run on Windows 7. this is a true 64 bit program not like Vista.

To help all those players who stuck searching for Gems in Totem Tribe we've made an utility. This utility will open save file for Totem Tribe and will analyze on which island how many gems left.
How to use:
1. Download [totem-tribe-gem-utility.zip] (114.33K) unzip and run.
2. Click "open"
3. In the opened window locate your save files. Saves are usually stoerd in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Enkord\Totem Tribe\ (under Windows XP) or in C:\ProgramData\Enkord\Totem Tribe (under Windows Vista). Please note that those folders might be hidden, so you will need to select "show hidden files and folders" setting in Windows Control Panel. File you need to open is profiles.dat
4. Output window will tell you where have you missed gems.

Hi I have totem tribe 0.358...i heard some of versions have gem glitches...does this version have glitch? I'm asking this because when I used gem utility to see my profile it is showing my profile name and nothing else. But the number of gems found are 99%...what should I do? I'm helpless....please help me..
And one more thing the path you have specified doesn't exist in my hard drive. Instead the profile is in C:\Program Files\Games\Totem Tribe\data |

It's not supported on Windows 7. For Win7 you better consider purchasing Totem Tribe Gold, which has gem utility built-in in the game.

berserker i was going to pm you but i guess i have to post, so here it goes. i got totam tribe from a free download on gamehouse.com at tryed to use the jem finder and it doesn't show anything. is this because it was a free verison?

If you're looking for it in the game, the original Totem Tribe doesn't have it built in. Only the GOLD edition has that. You need the download from the first page of this thread. It will show which gems are missing from your collection in a window separate from the game, but it will only tell you what is missing, not where they are. I checked the Gamehouse free version of the original, and the gem utility works fine with it, even with Windows 7 64-bit. It's located in the same place as Vista (C:\ProgramData\Enkord\Totem Tribe). If your game is saved on a drive other than C:, look there. My old computer was set to save everything to F:. |

My profile shown that no gem left, but ,in the game, I still have 99% rainbow. ??? What should I do??
Is there any possibility that only the last gem can't be detected by this program?

I downloaded, opened viewer window, and got nothing but blank with the buttons 'open' or 'quit'. When I click 'open' it just opens another list of files... am I doing something wrong?
I really, really appreciate the help, esp. as I have 99% of gems, but no guardian moon. Thanks!

Unfortunately this utility is no longer supported as we released Totem Tribe Gold which already has built-in gem counter in the game. It also has 10 new levels so check it out!

I have been trying to figure out how to download the gem utility on Windows 7 and have followed everything that has been printed in all threads. I am not a completely savvy computer person, but do know my way around. Could someone please help me out. I have 87% and would love to do the rest of this game if possible. It would be a total shame to lose out now when I am so close. Have rechecked every island and have checked all bushes, trees, rocks, etc. to no avail. Please help and soon. Thanks so much.
