I am missing the yellow and violet Gems of Power,I know where they are but how do I get them.The violet gem is probably because I couldn't do the pictures in the Abandoned City,but where is the other one in the Great Desert.:(

Have you already explored all of the screen and opened the gate? You can find the yellow gem here (highlight to see):
It's in the upper right corner in the closure behind the gate, where the pillars are. It's half hidden behind some rocks at the edge of the screen. You'll need to bring your scouts up there and close to the mountain range to reveal it.
