Shanna, the hungry monkeys are called "Hungry monkey" ::D When you click on them it will say "Hungry monkey is walking" or "hungry monkey is thinking".
I do not think they are random, meaning that I don't think the system just waits for you to click a thousand times, so what I did was dividing the territory and making sure I click on all monkeys, until I found the lazy ones who could not pick bananas for themselves :)
I think there were 2 on the island on the right, for example.
