Information regarding updates and more

I have noticed we no longer get information regarding the updates done or updates that are being worked on.  I understand that maybe the majority of the "staff" might be working on other projects , but as this one still up and running and you still have a group of people commited to testing this game, can we have 1 person to update us.

It is important for us to see the presence of Devs, even if just 1x week to show up, say hello or just update forum with what's happening with this project. When will more aspects of space age be introduced? Is space age the last age? Are we updating the story plot? when will a new vic be implemented?

Im sure I'm not the only one with these type of questions. Any information would be greatly appreciated. 

On another matter, now that your former Forum Mods ( Tuey, Simba, Sandy) are no longer playing, whom can we go to if major , critical issues are encountered? Since we can have those at any moment, who is your "contact person or can we just PM any Dev and expect a reasonable reply time?

I would also like to see information about the updates as well as regular communication to let us know what (if anything) is happening in the game.

As to a contact person, I think this is critical since there is no way to contact customer service right now. We are still donating to keep this game running and it would be helpful to have a resource for the inevitable hiccups.

I was never a Mod, I just happened to be able to Text Ber's, Gizzy has his number. It was from 9 months ago we got the most information from Berserker in this thread.

 He just needs to find the joy in the game again. I am sure something may get his creative ideas rolling. Here is to hopping so. 

I do think new moderators with more people having the text numbers is a good idea though.  As to joy in the game well hope springs eternal.  :-)

Well yes,  I have Ber's number and have used it a couple of times when the game crashed and nobody could get back on, but as I'm in EU, perhaps someone else in USA should have it too, in case of crashes in that time zone. However, I can't forward the number to anyone without Bers giving the thumbs up, or maybe he can do so directly?

Recenty updates are mostly technical bugfixes so nothing worthy to mention, except maybe addition of Russian translation, which is not relevant to 99% of users anyway. Once there will be something worth mentioning, we will be posting it in the log and maybe in the news as well.

Nice to see your still looking in on us Berserker.  And I will be back in the game after the first of the year.

Indeed, sometimes players text me in case of emergency and I wake up in the middle of a night to fix the server :)

If you really trust some people, you may want to give them the way to reboot the server themselves if sometime it's all that is needed to fix the problem and if you'd like to not be disturbed while you sleep.
