inside the comet

I have battled my way through with 100% gems and finally made it to inside the comet. Seven attempts later despite watching video walk throughs ad nauseum I simply cannot beat the beggars. I love a challenge - am a veteran of westward series and enjoy the thrill of a good fight BUT this is just silly. When a game ceases to be fun and just becomes frustrating it is no longer a game. After 2 days of different strategies I do not know if I care anymore. I just do not like being beaten! But for myself, as much as I adore Totem Tribe, I feel that enough is enough. I have enjoyed this game and have bought the Gold edition but you know what? If the ending is this hard, I think I will go back to Westward. Throuhout the game a 10 out of 10 - the ending? Forget it. Too hard. Shame bro.

That is actually the whole challenge of the game. Most like you give up on this type of quest and only a few have made it all out. You are almost there, pal. Don't give up that easy.

I can actually win the final battle quickly by building five temples and charging them all to shield. The attacks on the compound come mostly from the same place, so I circle those areas with arrow towers. I find that archers take longest to be killed, so I squeeze in as many of them as possible. All small spaces are filled with either a shaman or hunter tent. While the shamans are powerful, they also die quickly, while the hunters take longer to die, so I alternate which one I'm building. Sometimes, a strategic retreat is in order. If most of your people are in route to the battle and arriving in a steady stream, they are quickly picked off. You need a large number of people actively battling to win. If you have that steady stream, plant your battle flag just out of reach of the battle and allow them to regroup. Once most of them are present, send them back to the battle.

Yes I knew the retreat already, any other help? Im looking for help on the level.
