:confused: I can't seem to find all of the stone pillars to break them. I am having a hard time trying to beat the giant octopus alien thing. Does anyone know how many breakable pillars there are and where they all are inside the comet? Thanks in advance for your help :)

I can't remember where all of them are, but I found the last one all the way north, so at the top in the middle.
Just check the little map for dark areas, then you should be able to find them.
It takes a looooong time before you defeat the octopus, but the laser firing thingamejigs will be destroyed after you destroy all stone pillars. That will make attacking a lot easier (relatively speaking ;)).

I knocked out five of the crystal core things, but they're still all lightningy. Am I missing one? and what's with the sarlacc-like pits?
