What are the celestial crystals for? I can't find the last small shell. All the others were easy. Is it so deep in the mist I'll never find it?

Oops. Just found the last small shell. Interestingly, it appeared in a place I had just looked so it wasn't there before. Does anyone notice the same things happen with gems? They suddenly appear. Still don't know about the celestial crystals, though.

they don't suddenly appear.
They were there before, you just didn't see them and after a while the missing gems and bones and shells etc. become more visible and they pulsate a little
