I have held on for a long time. I know you creators are not interested in players that want to play for fun and do not want to be destroyed by players who like to beat the small players just because they do not dare to take on same levelled players because they might loose.
This game has totally changed from what you lead us to believe. Namely to play solo, peacefully, but to still have interaction with other players. This is an all out war game. And the smaller players are being completely destroyed because they are bored or have whatever reason.
No way some archers and wooden towers can survive tanks, planes and even worse.
Not that it is of any matter to you, because you have your fan base and you give them all they want, but I quit.
This game is no fun anymore, I want to have fun also I want to play to relieve stress, and this game is not giving me that anymore.

The fact that you are 138 days old and still have wooden towers and archers doesn't say much for your desire to play this game. This game evidently has never been fun for you. Maybe you would have progressed further with less heroes. 4 seem like too much for you.

Money has nothing to do with it, you don't need money to advance. You can advance with gameplay and dedication. As well as seeking advice and help from other players and forum tips, etc. And you don't have to attack players to play, you can be part of an alliance and NOT attack people. Being part of an alliance actually helps with protection as well as helping you to advance through tips and assistance. Everyone in my alliance has different ways of doing things and it's nice to get different ideas on how to accomplish a task. And not everyone attacks either,,,

Money has nothing at all to do with it.... Hero was 138 days old and still in medieval age with no proper defenses at all while playing 3 other heros. 4 heros in total? I think they had plenty of time to advance, build and defend properly.

Addressing the point the original poster made, when everyone was free to attack everyone, there was an ''unwritten rule'' for most alliances that they would NOT attack heros much below them in development. I appreciate that there were exceptions to this, usually for very strategic reasons, but it mostly worked. Now with the 30 day rule, everyone in that time frame is fair game according to the developers, so our personal feelings about attacking players less developed has been thrown out of the window by game changes as we are much more restricted by who we can attack.

This is the best post I have read about this important subject. It perfectly sums up the failings of the 30 day rule, originally implemented I believe with the best intentions of giving players protection. Devs please consider scrapping this rule, or at the very least change it to 60 days. In my opinion this is the main reason players are getting seriously bored and leaving the game now.

Please take note of the original post. This player is not new to this game and is not slow as some have suggested. This post was for the devs and was not pointing fingers any where. She knows very well how to defend, so her current hero status is NOT an indication that she is a casual player. If her hero is only 138 days old and she has 4 heroes, it is probably because all of her other heroes have been wiped out or deleted. The point she was making is getting lost by the other posts. The main point being made is the same as other forum posts by players leaving. The game is not fun anymore. The changes to attack rules have changed the main play drastically. Norm's suggestion to possibly tweak the 30 day rule is a good one.
