How do we get to a hidden island where I can find the orange gem? I tried looking around but found nothing. I'm about to play this game again and see if I'll have better luck. Any ideas please?
When you defeat the Shade on Monkey Island, you will get a green head. Click on it and give it to the chief. That will unlock Liana Island where the orange gem is.
