1 2
Does anyone have a picture of what they are supposed to look like. I am so frustrated, I think that I am going to cry or quit:confused:

one is of two egyptians sitting facing each other, the other is 4 figures standing,2people & 2 dog-headed people standing facing each other; i found that there are 4 layers ,each one you can adjust with a different arrow , so you adjust the horizontal image by clicking on the right arrows, one at at time, and the vertical image by clicking on the down arrows; 8 clicks brings each seperate image around full circle. try to match up the red colours for the arms, or the brown legs; or the blue hats. click all 4 arrows to move the whole image across 1 place to the right/down good luck hope you understand:D

Yes, that is exactly it. Think of it as a TV screen with 4 parts of the picture. The arrows at the bottom move each of the 4 layers down. 8 clicks is 1 full rotation. The right arrows more the same 4 layers to the right, and 8 clicks is again 1 full rotation. BTW, the bottom left-most button moves the same layer or part as the right top-most button. 1. To start just click until it starts to look like something, anything at all. Try to find places where the color becomes more solid. 2. Also, try to see whether there are places where there are 2 sets of arms, heads, feet, etc., where there should be one, and whether it is up, down, left or right of where the darkest version of the those arms, head, etc. are. 3. So just by trial and error I found a picture that looked sort of like something. Trying to keep the position of the darkest part in the same place, try using the down buttons to get a few to almost overlap. 4. Now, looking at it, does it look like a head is at the bottom of the screen? Is their feet in the middle? Try to adjust the picture using just the down buttons to get the feet at the bottom and the head up top. Mostly, you won't succeed (unless you're lucky) right away. If you find that most of the picture overlaps but the feet are at the top, remember to adjust all the buttons at the bottom the same number of clicks to move the whole picture down. 5. Now look to see whether the picture makes sense left to right. Mostly it's people facing each other. So if one head is facing away from the other, you need to move the picture right until it looks centered, and the people are facing each other. Remember to move all the layers the same number of clicks. 6. The closer it gets to being the right picture the better it will look. Soon it will be obvious that only one or two are slightly out of position, try to find the button that moves it to the correct spot. It's trial and error, but I hope that this helps someone.

Mine are not pixelated. Somewhere I read that was because I bought the beta version. So have downloaded the full version and my pictures are still not pixelated. How do I get them to work. I can make them go pixelated, but getting them pictured again, makes nothing happen, which I am sure it is supposed to.

I also have the beta version, but mine are pixelated till I save the game and leave and go back in. Then the pictures are as they should be. If you press all the arrows till you have the picture again, something will fall out.

Presuming, that you have 1.06 already, click each button surrounding image once. After that it will behave ( also after subsequent save-load ) correctly. This issue can happen if you started and saved the level in beta-version.

Thank you Guro. I did that, but although I thought I had been careful to click on each button, it worked fine for one picture, but not for the other. I got the bottom picture and yes, something fell out, but when I got the top picture, nothing happened again. What have I done wrong? It did save pixelated when I had clicked on each button.

I think most of you are making the same mistake I made. I got the bottom one to work, but no matter what, I couldn't get the upper one to give me the item. I know the picture was as clear as a bell and had no pixels left. I even went so far as to "delete' the saved file for that city. Then I happened to notice that even though it was clear, the hiroglyphs(?) letters were on a fine line, which wasn't at the edge of the picture. by centering the picture (using the method of clicking each arrow one at a time) I was able to move the entire picture up and down and side to side and BINGO, out it came! Hope this helps you all.

Am going through the game the second time. Have managed to get most of the challenges and am up to the Comet Crash Site. However, I just cannot get the pixelated pictures to work this time round in Abandoned City, have wasted so much time on them, it isn't funny. Without the pictures it will not be possible to go on. I am soooo frustrated!

Got it once more, but oh dear, these are truly frustrating. There must be some sort of order to them, but have not found that yet.

I have not touched this game since last year some time, being so frustrated with the pixelated pictures. However, recently decided that as I had paid for this game, I would try it once more. But what happens? I try the pixelated pictures with the idea I would do one for about 5 minutes each day until hopefully it would work. But no, every time I close the computer down and another day try the pictures again, they are back to being finished and no crook or flail. Carefully did what you mentioned at one time Guru, and clicked every arrow once. Then another one just to make sure (this was yesterday), but when I turned the computer on today, AGAIN the pictures were finished. So there is some problem which you people never fixed. My thoughts are not friendly. In other words, I cannot finish the game as there is a mistake in the program.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as you are with the pictures. Have you completed them yet and do you have any tips as I'm about to delete the game through frustration! Many Thanks

Sorry, as I said it is a fault in the game itself. Nothing I can do to change it, and it doesn't look like Guru checks these forums, or more likely doesn't want to know. He has our money. Other game sites like Awem do something about it when there is a fault like this. Enkord may be a smaller site, but that should not be a reason for not correcting a fault. In fact the whole pixelated pictures idea doesn't fit in with the rest of the game. :(

The is no fault, it was part of the design, so if you can't get that puzzle, we are sorry, but there is nothing we can do. That puzzle is optional and you can finish the game without it.

If you really want to try and solve them, you can always start the island over. Just click that you don't want to continue the saved game. Personally, I love these puzzles, and would like to know what they are called and where I can find more. By solving the way I said in another post, I can solve them very quickly. My best time is 2:41. Go ahead and accuse me of being crazy. It wouldn't be the first time I've heard it. :)

I am sure it was not part of the design that the pixelated pictures solve themselves automatically every time I quit the game. I click all round the picture to get the muddled picture, then try and solve it. As I do need to do other things as well, after a while I quit and come back later to do some more on them, but the pictures have solved themselves and are finished AGAIN. It is not unwillingness to do them, as I was determined to get them. But if they will finish themselves there is no way I can get the crook and flail. :(

Greetings, Klassje. Please, make sure you have version 1.06. Looks like you don't.

Thank you. I have version 1.05. Do I have to uninstal that, then download the latest version? Will it be the full game, seeing I paid for it? And by the way, apart from the pixelated pictures you have made a marvellous job of this game.
