OK, so I'm still having problems, even using other people's suggestions, therefore, I'm not certain we are all working from the same puzzle...? For me the first two rows cannot be changed, they are listed as follows: Row 1= W B W B B W Row 2= W B B W B B What should Row 3 sequence be? I've tried all combinations, regardless what the obelisks show, and no combinations seem:confused: to work. I wanted to try to replay the level, just to get out and try again, but also not able to do this. Help please!!!

you only change row 3, U try row 3 = B B W W W B i have 7 feathers, who can help me? Discussion #374

I'm on the 2nd pattern and I'm given this: W W B W B W B W B W B B One of the obelisks asks for B W B How is that even possible? Can anyone help here I am very confused on this one.

I'm stuck as well. Binary adding gave me nothing - or I did it wrong - and random clicking hasn't so far given any result. Anyone found out the logic behind it yet?

I had no trouble with the 3rd puzzle when I tried the binary adding. I didn't check the wiki link about binary addition given above, but here is my answer from another thread: Maybe it's easier (or harder? lol) than the wiki article? Discussion #481

Hi, I have all the gems, have been to the moon and have found all of the totems and treasures. I wonder if there is something more to do in the pyramid before I go into the comet.... The rooms are all different colors and the columns in some of the rooms look like something is supposed to stack on top of them??? Am I going crazy here? Love this game and am just thinking outside the, um, pyramid?!!

I solved all 3 by accident, i was just clicking and clicking and then i got it. But can someone explain how the sacred summator actually works (cause i'm going to start a new game)?

OMG! thanks for the help but that is more confusing to me than just fiddling with the puzzle until u get it lol.

my sentiments exactly. apparently you need to be a math whiz in order to play this game. it is extremely frustrating. trying to explain binary is ridiculous. yes, i'm getting angry. no game should be this difficult for the average person! next time i play one of these games i'll remember to get my Masters in Physics, Calculus and Geometry first.

I just solved the puzzle and it's pretty easy once you know what you're supposed to do. Before that, though, there was the great pulling of hair and gnashing of teeth and finally, when I caved in, looked it up and found it out, the shouting of "Binary?! " What annoyed me most is that I was forced to check out hints in the first place, as I couldn't for the life of me figure out the system behind the puzzle. Usually I don't have problems with puzzles, I have been playing pretty tricky adventure games for 15 years or something and love puzzles in general. But I'm blessedly innocent when it comes to binary, all I knew was there's 1s and 0s and that's it. I would never ever have gotten the idea of using it to solve the puzzle myself, binary just isn't part of my experience range/mindset/knowledge base/whatever! Now that I know the obelisk clues actually make sense, though, and I fell a little stupid for not getting it :o Anyway, I'll try to explain things for the uninitiated like me (don't read if you don't want spoilers, but I guess if you got this far you're desperate enough):

One of the colours is 1, the other 0, I'm not sure if it changes from game to game. I'll take white=0 and black=1.
You have to add the two upper rows, the third row (the one you can click) is supposed to be your sum. Start with the column at the right.
The obelisks tell you that 0+0 is 0, 1+0 is 1, 1+1 is 10 (the L-shape), which is the slightly tricky part. You have to carry the resulting 1, which means you need to add an imaginary black pearl to the next column on the left.
So if you have 2 white pearls in a column, the bottom pearl is white; 1 white 1 black gives you a black pearl; 2 black gives you a white pearl, but you'll have to add a black pearl to the column on the left.
Looks like this: 100110 010100 111010 bwwbbw wbwbww bbbwbw Hope this makes sense and I didn't mess up my fine and very selfmade example, but it worked for me. Had the puzzle solved in less than a minute.

They aren't the same every time. You'll just have to bite the bullet and learn to add binary numbers. Sorry.

Try this I found it explained easier then in this thread if anyone is still out there playing and looking for help.

"Imagine black marble = 1, white = 0

starting on the right, add the two beads in the column after that you add a 0 in front of it for the rest of the columns the answer should look something like this

"
