Restarting a level when it's saved?

Hi. Problem in Gazing Canyon: I am completely swarmed by the flying eyeballs. There are way too many to build towers in time because I spent all my time building other stuff first ... and that's where my save file is saved at, with that time already spent doing the wrong thing. I don't have time to build enough towers, so they get me every time, so I die, so I go back to the saved file, and I just start it all over again. (Every time I quit in the middle of a level that I haven't actually lost, the game saves -- is that a Mac-only thing? PC people here haven't mentioned it -- so I was likely to run into this unless I played every long level through start to finish without a break.) How do I get rid of the save file for that one island? I just want to start this level over from scratch, but I don't want to start the whole game over at this point. I don't see any options in the game itself to restart the level. I am on a Mac and I dug around a little and couldn't find any obvious library files. Thanks for any help you can give me. I love this game and have been playing it enthusiastically every day.

when u start before they kill u quit the level, then at the main menu press play and it asks u if u want to continue and press no, should start that level fresh, hope this helps

Thanks, lafewin, but no, that doesn't work. Every level I stopped in the middle and came back to later is saved. I can drop an island -- hit "no" on the prompt to continue -- and go play other islands. When I go back, the save file is just the same as it was and I pick up where I left off. I thought that was deliberate. Maybe it's a Mac vs. PC version thing? Oh, and getting killed doesn't kill the save file, either.

I don't have your problem with saved files. Better tell Enkord which version you have and what system etc. you are using. About the defeat, you don't need to build everything, just everything you need to build arrow towers. And build two huts, in case your workers get killed. Build two arrows towers in the south, two in the west and two in the north north east of our settlement. then upgrade the arrow shooting 3 x Then you can built further and upgrade the rest, in the meantime attack the eyes in the south west first, then south east, then west and then north. That works for me everytime and if have played the game a few times. Good luck.

doesn't the level restart from the beginning when one of your two heros get killed?

It was a bug. Please download game again.
