Hello, I need help. I'm relatively new to the game. I'm having difficulty getting settled in territory since other players threaten that I should move. How is this possible? New players can not play ?? Yesterday I spent all afternoon trying to establish territory and today when I get to the game a player robbed me territory.

No one robbed you of territory. They probably just grew faster. What you are running into are faster, more experienced players who expand while you are not online. :-) You might want to wait a week or so and try again.

I do not understand. I had territory with horses. The horses are still mine but the territory is no longer mine. So they robbed me of territory :( If the server was not down I would put a photo but now I can not.

the horses are yours temporarily if the neighbor took the cell they were in. if that is the case, you will no longer have the horses at the end of 24 hours I'm afraid.

you can not be 'robbed'. your neighbor grew faster than you and grew into that space, now you need to build fast to take area back or start another hero

Maybe Zweistein can have a bit of dialogue in the tutorial telling people they can lose land if they do not play and expand regularly?

Maybe Zweistein can have a bit of dialogue in the tutorial telling people they can lose land if they do not play and expand regularly?well is not the case. I've been playing all afternoon. And the horses were in my territory and with fence. Thus there is no hypothesis for new players to expand because older players take over all territories. Is this a game just for old players?I will try again with a new hero, I like the game, but it is the last attempt for me.The only thing I wanted was to be in my corner, to develop the territory and to know the whole story. But maybe not the right game for this :(

https://imgur.com/a/w3M800XI tried to tell her she was in an awful spot. not only am "stealing" from her because i'm building houses and res in my dwelling but she wrage to the north, but Eight and Trouble and I think Diamond below her. As any of the experienced players know, she has no chance where she is. She does have another hero that is a bit better positioned and the same age/level. I highly recommend she abandon this hero and focus on the other one while she learns the game. :)

Marypup your borders expand when you build up cultural buildings, the little purple music symbol when you click on your town or buildings in town. Anything that is in your borders is yours, that is how you fenced the horses. But, to keep them, they must stay in your borders. Meaning if you want to be that close to another player, you must build faster. That is why a lot of new players get upset when starting the game because the system is made to place us all 4 cells or so from each other in a competitive way.

i do think something needs to be explained to new players about how the cells, territory, etc works. i have another one that is between me, harlie and jelly. you try to warn them, to explain to them and they call you nasty names and accuse you of being a bully and stealing from them. We are trying to help them have a better game experience and to learn. Sadly, I don't really know that there is anything Bers can add or say that will change this, I am afraid it's more of a statement on humanity.

marypup, how can i make you understand i did nothing that you didn't do. i am simply building my town as you are. i'm more experienced so i grow faster. no one did anything to you, you aren't a victim, it's how the game is designed to be played. good luck with your other hero. if you want to friend me i will help you to learn and send you resources

I have explained all this in pm to Marypup. :-) It's a competitive game. We start close and fastest largest player wins. Money or no money. Experience or no experience. No one will slow their own play to accommodate another player unless they are already friends and it's part of a deal in an alliance or something. And, to my knowledge that doesn't happen, like ever. :-) BTW, Marypup, you should take Spencer up on her offer. :-)
