The Great Desert Temple Gate Opened then stopped!

Posting is new to me, I don't even know what a thread is. But I was playing this game quite well untill ...... I used all keys correctly and The Great Desert Gate to the temple opened allowing me to begin scouting. My scouts moved in two or three moves the window opened and said I had completed all reguirements. then asked if I wanted to move to the next island or stay and continue. I didn't know what to do, I knew I was in trouble. I picked continue for a couple minutes and quit and it saved. What is this all about? I'm not tech. savvy so please help, but I can't mess around with exec. files it's all Greek to me. OH I Have so much into this game. Please help I'm hoping, hoping , hoping. If you answer, i'm also hoping I can find it.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Did the game stop working? Can you not get back to the Great Desert? Can you not move on to the next island?

the Great Desert only REQUIRES that you move into the Temple advance through the gate make note of two towers, move pass the sphinxes and collect the Yellow Gem of Power. Then window asks if you want to move on or continue? you need to continue many things to do.

I don't quite understand what happened. Have you tried to continue the game to know what will you do next?
