For once, and likely last time too, a report not about tt2 but about tt1: during installation, you can choose to install the game, a shortcut to desktop and shortcut somewhere else, but, you can choose to not install the game itself if you want, resulting only in the creation of the folder of the game, no big deal but I don't see much reasons why anyone would want to do that.
