I'm really at a loss. I've entered the pyramid, but I have no objects to use at all, can't find anything, and I really have no clue. Which objects for the pyramid do I need, and where do I get them? Still haven't found out what I have to give to the third sage on Firefly Island. But apart from that there is literally nothing left for me to do on the other islands.

Have you gotten the ankh from the third sage? If not, you'll need to go back and get the ankh from him so that you can open up a passage.
If you have the ankh then you'll need to press any "stones" that look like they are protruding from the wall and light any lights tat are unlit. This will open more secret passages for you to go through.
Have you gotten to the second part of the pyramid? You'll know since all walls are pink and blue....

Thanks for your help, but I don't have the ankh yet :( I have given the shark teeth and the feathers to two of the sages, but now there is nothing that I could give to the third sage (I guess thats the one on the southern coast, isnt it?)

Once you reach the pyramid you'll need to go back and get the ankh from the third sage. There is nothing to give the third sage - he gives the ankh so that a new passage is opened up in the pyramid so that you can get the rosary beads...

you will find what you need to give to the third sage only after you finish the pyramid and return to the first three locations from the desert ; so, don't worry about that now
enter in the first part of the pyramid, be careful at the light on the walls, bull statuettes, loose bricks, tiles on the floor, etc
after you finish the first part of the pyramid, return to firefly island and receive the ankh
return to the pyramid and enter the second half

What exactly does "be careful" translate as? Don't walk, don't touch?

Would someone be kind enough to post a walkthrough of the pyramid... I can't even get past the first part - I've turned on everything; i've walked what's available not touching anything, and nada... and of course, if I try to return to Firefly Island I have to say no to wanting to continue at the pyrmaid, which wipes out anything I've done there. So right now I'm managing the somewhat rare achievement of going "round" in "squares". Next step will be to delete this game, I guess

There are grey rectangular "stones" that are protruding from the walls. You'll need to push these in to open secret passages. Look in dead ends - usually they are there.

Done that already. Same result
Oh, and in one of my by now countless attempts, I've already tried clicking on every mural painting; tried clicking on the top of each and every pedestal; tried clicking on every lamp - lit or unlit; tried clicking on each and every gargoyle; tried clicking on the scarab pediestals. Nothing left to click on besides each and every brick in the floor

Actually ankhs won't be available until you get the ankh from the wise man....
I know there are pressure points on the floor. I don't remember if this is in the first section of the pyramid or not.
One one section, there are two where you need to place one person on one and drag the other on the other person on it.

No I have no anks and I've tried to place them on the raised daises but that doesn't work.
Thanks for taking the time to respond, but I think it's time for me to take heed of something I saw a poster write about another game: "I play games for enjoyment, not for headaches. If I wanted headaches, I'd clean the house."
Amusing, but sadly, in this case, entirely a propos.

I know there is a 'room' that I have not been able to enter but can't figure out how to get there. Just top left of the one with the obalisks with the red scarabs. This is a good game the first I have actually bought BUT the pyramid is making me wonder if it's worth it for the frustration. I have lit lamps stood on tile plates etc but am still stuck! As for the black and white ball puzzle I have done the first and tried to do the second using hints from forum members but no joy. I am so close I want to get all the items as I played TT several times. Any spoilers gratefully received!

You can go to a nother Island and come back later, you're progress will be safe!! Believe me I did it plenty times!! Then when I came back scanned the area again and found something to open..Dnt get discouraged, you will do it!! I know it's frustrating at times. Just take a breather from it! Come back refresh and look carefully at the walls for lights to turn on, bulls to click, areas on the wall to push, areas on the floor that rise (you need to step on those) You dont need to click any wall paintings yet (you will when you have all the anks (6).. Good Luck;)

No other islands to go to.. it's either the Pyramid or inside the comet... and to be honest, it wouldn't matter if I didn't play inside the comet... twice was more than enough for me in the original game - wouldn't lose any sleep over not "finishing" by not playing that part, but would have liked to have completed the new parts having spent so much time on the game already... but well .
BTW, apart from the imaged illus. of a raised area at one of I think 3 corridors opened up by pushing the outcrops of brick or lights, I don't see any raised areas on the floor - unless you're talking about the daises. I don't think my depth perception is poor, but I see no raised tiles other than those areas, and those areas are clearly not accessible to either of the two characters

The that's what you are missing. There are 2 different areas where the floor tiles rises and you have to put Guru and the girl on them at the same time. Scan the area slowly with them and you will noticed. One of the areas is in the upper mid or NE area (sorry cant be sure :o ) Give your eyes a rest and come back to it, you will find it!!

Well - an end to the exercise in futility - I've deleted the game.
