White Oil from Blueberry Isl and Melting all of the ice on Frozen Vale

Hi! I currently have all three rosaries and the black oil but not the white. the problem is, I go to the sw of blueberry isl where the white oil is supposed to be in a chest, but there is no chest there ANYWHERE. I have all feathers and all crystals and all sharks teeth, have made the shark tooth necklace and the headress, but can't proceed. It seems like every isl is done except the final two, but on Frozen Vale, it doesn't say "Victory" yet - it says I still need to melt ice with fire towers, but I've already melted all the ice. I am missing two coins but have been to each island they are supposed to be and am not finding them....can anyone point me in the right direction? Hoping to get further, soooooo close to the end - have never finished before, LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

Are you sure you melted all the ice? there is some very hard to reach spots.

Thank you, both for your responses. Without all of the good guides, I would never have gotten this far. I try to use them only when "needed" (read: desperate), but in this case, they are not helping me. I can't for the life of me figure out why it appears I should have the white oil, but do not (the chest is no longer showing in the sw - that should indicate that I've already found it, which I thought I had, yet it is not in my inventory and I can't continue without it).

As to the ice, I have searched the island over and over again with a fine-toothed comb and don't see one scrap of ice left (I have pulled up maps from walkthroughs that show the locations of the ice clumps prior to my having destroyed them all and double and triple-checked each location - I just don't get why it is still telling me to melt ice with fire towers. Since I have completed all other chores for that island, I even knocked down all arrow towers and converted any remaining ones to fire that weren't fire already...still, nada - I just don't see any ice left, yet I'm still being told to destroy it. Also, still not getting why I don't have the white oil, yet the chest it was in is gone - WHERE, OH WHERE IS THAT WHITE OIL????

I haven't played TTGold in a long time, but I believe the chest is on an island in Blueberry. Not the main island, but a small one way out at sea. Have your scouts uncover every speck of the sea.

I just looked through the guide I once wrote for another site and it says the white oil is on a small island in the Oasis, not Blueberry. Not sure if it was in different places in different versions of the game, but you could try having a look there.

if I remember correctly at the very top center of frozen Vale is an ice that must be melted. can only clear the fog to see it by going into the area from the left side. you are able to build a tower there to help see this ice block.

Thank you all for responding. I have uncovered everything on blueberry that there is to be uncovered, and the chest just isn't there. It also turned out not to be at the other location suggested. The thing that's so frustrating is, I believe I DID find the white oil and that it was indeed on a tiny island at the sw corner of blueberry, but for some reason, the oil doesn't show in my inventory even though the chest was opened and has now disappeared. And, I'm pretty sure it DID show in my inventory, but then had disappeared when I'd located the black oil - is that even possible? I'm wondering about the fact that I still have two coins to find and that I seem to be "stuck" on Frozen Vale as, even though I've quadruple-checked MULTIPLE times, there is ZERO ice anywhere, yet I'm still being told to melt it with my fire towers. Followed the suggestion so kindly offered, but no soap - there just isn't any more ice, yet that message keeps glaring at me and I haven't earned the "Victory!" notice on that island (tho I've earned it everywhere else except the last two islands and maybe firefly which is inaccessible to me right now - Aaaaaaaghhhh!!!!! I am pulling my hair out)! Have also been to all eight islands that coins are on repeatedly and had no luck coming up with the last two. Sooooooo sad ;(((((((((((
